FOR BALIK MANGGAGAWA WORKERS IN PORTUGAL

If you are already working abroad and planning to take a vacation in the Philippines, you will need an OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate) to return to your jobsite.

You must apply for OEC if you are under temporary working status, such as:

  • Spain: Temporal Cuenta Ajena / Highly Skilled (ambito nacional…)
  • France: Salarié / Passeport Talent
  • Portugal: Temporária
  • Andorra: Residencia y Treball

OEC Requirement:

An MWO-verified contract is needed to get an OEC. We only verify active employment documents.

We advise to do contract verification 1 month before your travel to the Philippines.

If you have multiple employers, please choose only one employer and use only one email address for your submission.

Send clear scanned copies to: mwo_madrid@dmw.gov.ph

  1. Signed Contract
    • France, Portugal, Andorra, Monaco: Provide English translation (Google Translate is acceptable).
  2. Passport (data page only)
  3. Valid Residence Card (front and back)
    • If expired, also include:
      • Carta de Regreso (Spain)
      • Récépissé (France)
  4. Employer’s ID (passport or residence card – for household/domestic workers only)
  5. Latest payslip or proof of employment——-1 month latest only.

Verification Fee: €10
Payment instructions will be sent after your documents are evaluated.

Notes:

  • If you already verified your contract at our office, it is still valid as long as there are no changes (same employer, country, position).
  • If you are not the worker, include an authorization letter to represent the worker.
  • If you change employer, change country, change position, you have to do contract verfiication
  • If you are still being hired directly from the Philippines, please inform us. Requirements are different for new hires from the Philippines.

Kung kayo ay nagpa verify na ng employment documents at nakakuha na po kayo ng OEC sa inyong present employer, same country, same position pa rin kayo, maaari po kayong mag-log in sa E-Registration system para kumuha ng inyong OEC Exemption.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your account:
    https://onlineservices.dmw.gov.ph/OnlineServices/POEAOnline.aspx
  2. Click «Balik Manggagawa» (right side ng dashboard).
  3. Sa flight details, ilagay ang date ng alis niyo sa Pilipinas at pabalik sa trabaho (jobsite).
  4. Sagutin ng «Yes» kung same employer pa rin kayo.
  5. Kung qualified, lalabas ang OEC Exemption. I-print po ito (naka-red mark).

Reminders:

  • OEC is one-time use only at valid for 60 days. Siguraduhin na ang balik niyo sa jobsite ay within 60 days after getting the OEC.
  • Kailangan kumuha ng OEC every time uuwi/magbabakasyon sa Pilipinas.
  • Ang verified employment documents ay valid hangga’t same employer at walang pagbabago sa kontrata.
  • Kung nagpalit ng employer, country or position ay kailangan pong magpa-verify ulit ng bagong kontrata para  makakuha ng bagong OEC sa present employer.
